The Founder:
Brandi’s Childhood
Brandi was born in a small town in south-central Pennsylvania. She is the eldest daughter born to teenage parents who were hardworking factory workers in middle-class America. She was raised on a piece of family property back a lane in the middle of the woods with her sister. The only neighbors were her great-grandparents and nature.
She spent most of her time alone in nature, playing games with her sister, spending time with extended family, and in the pages of a book.
She disliked school and was an average student. She was active in sports, had a wide circle of friends, and served in the community. She graduated high school at 17 and joined the United States Airforce.
Brandi’s Married Life:
Brandi Got married in Yigo Guam USA, to her first husband whom she meant while serving in the military. Together they had five children. Three boys and two girls. Their fifth child was delivered stillborn in 2008.
They separated in 2011 and Brandi wanted to move west. While she and her oldest son were in Idaho in April of 2011 her younger three children went to the White House Easter Egg roll and appeared on the front page of newspapers all over the United States.

In May 2013 Brandi finally was able to legally move west with her four children despite opposition. Her divorce was finalized in January 2014. In June 2014 she meant her current husband and they were married in July 2014. She was blessed with six bonus children. Today they are a family of twelve.
Brandi’s Community and Work History:
- She is a USAF Veteran who was honorably discharged in July 1999.
- Her logistics education began when she was trained as a Passenger & Household Goods Specialist in Wichita Falls, Texas
- In Colorado Springs, Co she procured transportation for military and civilian personnel and their dependents traveling via air inside the USA and overseas. She managed a satellite office and was responsible for daily operations and reporting.
- In Yigo Guam USA she worked in Outbound Personal Property and her primary responsibility was to conduct and facilitate counseling and briefing sessions on individual and group levels to prepare members for their moves to new bases all over the world. This is where her passion for teaching and facilitating began.
- In Newport News, VA after leaving full-time military service, she worked as the Transportation Coordinator for John Simon Produce. She developed and procured transportation from the supplier in the west to the buyer in the east. She had to procure transportation for loads of potatoes and onions via phone communication and develop relationships with truck brokers and owner-operators.
- In Williamsport Md, after moving back to Pa she worked for Preston Trucking as the Inbound Coordinator and as a customer service representative. She worked for LTL freight and helped set up deliveries and pickups for drivers daily. She worked for them until Preston went out of business.
- She has tried various types of business: event and catering, babysitting, cleaning, and a few network marketing companies all ventures allowing her the freedom and flexibility she desired as a mother.
- She has dabbled with various colleges in Colorado, Guam, Virginia, and Pennsylvania but never completed any formal degree.
- She is a trained and certified volunteer for Character Counts National and locally volunteered and facilitated training sessions and seminars for Character Counts of Washington County, Maryland.
- She started and managed a community group for moms that involved playgroups, book clubs, and outings.
- She started and managed a community action non-profit group called Citizens for Strong Families that never totally got off the ground because of community opposition.
- She was on the Pennsylvania Board of the American Family Coalition as a speaker and helped to organize events and designed marketing campaigns.
- She was a trained Girl Scout Leader and was actively involved for more than eight years in Pennsylvania and later Colorado.
- She was a Junior Achievement Volunteer and teacher in PA.
- She was an AYSO soccer coach in PA and a Certified Field Hockey Referee in Tidewater VA
- She was a member of the PTO and PTA
- March 2007: She was co-owner and co-author of the company Working the Home and the book with the same title. She sold her share of the company in January 2011 to her business partner to fund her divorce and start a new venture.
- May 2011: She started a moving company and retail store. A transition logistics company focused on moving, organizing, and remediation of household goods and personal property and government and commercial surplus which failed to reach its potential because of funding, relocation, and divorce complications.
- May 2011: COSA-Co Dependents of Sexual Addicts support phone contact for the entire state of Pa
- Sept 2013-2016: She worked as an apparel associate, Customer Service Manager, and Assistant Manager for Walmart at 5 stores between Colorado and Utah. She oversaw and managed the Grand Opening of a new store in Pagosa Springs Colorado and the grand opening of the Home Shopping Program in Tooele, Utah. She managed the front end, grocery, electronics, and hardlines, was over asset protection, and compliance, and was the training coordinator.
- June 2016-Present Worked on creating training content and writing her first solo book which she completed but decided not to publish.
- July 2020-Present With her husband they established The Sustainable Home Life Foundation a non-profit housing foundation in the developmental stages.
- November 2022-Created the Rose Colored door and is currently focusing on this endeavor.
