For over 30 years Jeri Lyn has put her accounting degree to work in starting and running several businesses.
She has always looked to do things “outside-of-the-box”. With her desire to raise her children and also contribute to the family income, she was “working from home” long before working from home was the “in” thing to do. Her work ranged from daycare, bookkeeping, virtual assistant, loan processing , to building a very successful online sales business.
JeriLyn grew up on an Idaho farm. At an early age she learned to pitch in and just get the work done. With coaching from her dad, she was driving tractor at 6 years old. She did various chores growing up from taking care of chickens at all stages (chicks to hens), feeding baby calves in the winter with a bottle, feeding hay to the cows along with other chores. She helped in the family garden and with the canning the produce in the fall. Her favorite part of summer was getting the work done early and then riding horses and swimming. She counts her childhood as very magical time.
She learned many life lessons on the farm. When it came time to work, it was always best to have everyone on the same page and working together. You always look for ways to help those around you. No one gets left  behind! You always do more than the minimum requirement!
She married her high school sweetheart after graduating from college. This year they will be celebrating 40 very happy years together. She sees their relationship as an equally matched team. She is mother to 5 amazing children (4 of them happily married and 1 still single) and grandma to 15 of the cutest grandchildren ranging from 14-1 years.
Currently she is using the skills she learned working from home to help other women run businesses from home. She focuses on helping them be prepared and ready to take advantage of the market changes to propel their businesses. She wants them to be ready to focus on the “next right” steps by being focused on the 2-3 things they can do right now to set themselves apart from the crowd and launch their businesses to the next level.

Throughout my time in and out of the military, I’ve become conscious of how the imbalance of physical, mental and spiritual energy in the personal lives of our societal norm have perversely impacted the quality and clarity of the collective. I understand that only through living a life of balance and harmony could one escape the confines of the cage we have imprisoned our authentic selves within. Only through consciously liberating ourselves from the oppressive thought patterns and belief systems that have kept us living a life of anxiety, shame and fear can the divine energy inherent in all of us manifest itself. I heard a story once that goes kinda like this:

A young man was serving a local humanitarian service in a rural South American village that had suffered through several years of drought and famine. He had been there quite some time and had started to become concerned. When he approached the village elders and inquired if they had come up with a plan, they responded with, ”We will call on the ‘rain man’.” Bewildered, he returned to his residence where he began to make travel plans to return home. The next day a traveling shaman arrives and the village elders warmly welcome his arrival and led him to the threshold of a tent. He turned with a smile, nodded his head and walked inside. For three days, no one walked in or out of the tent. On the conclusion of the third day, the shaman walked out and at the same time, a rainstorm descended upon the village breaking the drought they had suffered through for so long. In absolute disbelief, the man asked the shaman what he did to bring the rain. “Where I come from…” he said, “… people live a life of balance and harmony, so the energy of the land is in balance and harmony. When I came here, the energy of the land was out of balance and as such, my energy was as well. As I connected and brought myself back into harmony, the land did the same.”

It is my belief that we are all here for a specific reason and that at this time, the entire world is undergoing a type of “awakening”. Everything is energy. The light of consciousness manifests through that energy around us, within us and through us and allows us all to connect to one another on planes, realms and dimensions that supersede this one. As the exemplary Ram Dass has said, “We’re all just walking each other home.”

Through the Seven Principles of the Ancient Hawaiian Huna Philosophy, Ho’oponopono, and a fundamental understanding of Mana, I have recovered the power of my birthright and have liberated myself from the things inhibiting me from attaining my fullest potential.
